it's probably the fact that you always protest your innocence so vehemently that keeps that joke at the top of the pile, mr. jackson.
Well, it's kinda cyclical. The wisecracks get made, I respond. More wisecracks get made, etc.
"Vehemence" is a subjective concept on a message board. Depends on what you decide the poster's mood is when they're protesting. Could be lighter than you think.
Anyway, would you like to be thought of as a pervert, even in jest?
If you knew how I've fought against child abuse over the years, times I was instrumental in actual prosecutions against several people in my area, you might understand the distaste for the jokes. If you knew how much pain I've seen several loved ones go through because of abuse, maybe then, too.
How many times has anyone else here being smirked at for cracking jokes about Mark? I can't remember anyone else. Mark's the one who posted the stupid picture in the first place.
I guess if I want the wisecracks to stop, I'll have to stop making wiseass remarks that are going to be pounced on and misinterpreted and I'll have to stop responding to the wisecracks as well.
Okay, then.
