why wouldn't you ask your peers about their birth control choices? it doesn't hurt to get the opinions of those who have actually used birth control and have experiences to share. unless you're referring to the talk of butt babies, then by all means, skip the board.

I hear yah. They can sometimes be a pain, but really, I'll never understand why women feel the need to take all kinds of crazy meds or get operations. Scary.

miceelf... have tried sending you a pm for hours now... somehow it's not sending... sorry.

Jizz-bombing... It's not just for Kobe Bryant & the nameless, but crucially not faceless, skanks he wrangles in out-of-town hotels.

Probably because my in-box has been on 100% for days -- I just cleaned out to 80% -- should be good-to-go.

The perfect form of birth control, per radical, militant liberalism is abortion. Abortion is the holy sacrament to the liber- er, "progressive" cause.

Thread seems pretty dead, but just to bring up something no one else did: If you are in a monogamous relationship, you should think about an IUD. The copper ones don't have any hormones. You can leave it in for 7 years, and it's probably more effective than oral contraceptives + condoms (as long as it stays in place). The reason doctors usually want you to be in a monogamous relationship is that there is some evidence that if you get an STD with an IUD in place, it's more likely to spread and become Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. Which in addition to being no fun, can permanently scar your tubes.

But yeah, copper. It works through alchemy or something.

The "racy" PopTodd.

This is akin to finding out about Bob Saget's stand-up career, after only knowing him from Full House (& America's Funniest Home Videos (where all those testicular-injury clips should have been a clue to the real BS)).

{insert joke about "inbox on 100%" being probably not the best approach if concerned about birth control}

:wink:
