I just saw The Groovie Ghoulies play last night at the Bug Jar. Awesome show. Very, very fun and rocking. Love that band, you should all check them out on this current tour, especially if you're into simple but catchy cartoony rock'n'roll/pop punk " it's halloween every day of the year!" type stuff. they didn't get 3 songs into their show before Kepi was like "ok let's just throw the set list out the window" and everyone shouted requests. they played every song people asked for, including covers of Motorhead, New York Dolls, Super Furry Animals, etc. this band called Jackass opened and they were great too. a punk rock/honky tonk band.
