<---------------------- Hates Mel Brooks movies. Hates Albert Brooks movies.

Did you hate the 1980 "Miracle on Ice"? Because that team was coached by Herb Brooks.

And Brooks is not Albert's real name. His real last name is Einstein, and he's the brother of Bob "Super Dave" Einstein, who most recently appeared as Marty Funkhauser on Curb Your Enthusiasm.

People that vote for "Spaceballs" have to be at least mildly retarded.

1. Frankenstein
2. Blazing Saddles
3. History of the World pt. I

...everything else

My Top Ten

1 - Young Frankenstein
1.1 - Blazing Saddles
2 - The Producers
.
.
.
8 - High Anxiety
9 - Silent Movie
10 - The Twelve Chairs
.
.
.
7th Circle of Hell - History of the World Pt. 1

That's when I gave up on Mel Brooks. One of my ten worst movies ever (because I was expecting it to be good).

I liked "The Inquisition" musical number better when it was called "Springtime for Hitler."

No option for The Producers, no chance for real #1.

The rest are amazing only in their shittiness. I remember when High Anxiety seemed like it might be just a blip in a stellar career, and that Mel would get funny again. Nope. The good films are the blips.

I haven't seen Young Frankenstein or History of the World in so long that I'm not sure I remember if they were funny or not. Never seen the Producers.

Blazing Saddles is a really funny movie.

Spaceballs was an incredibly funny movie when it came out, and still has some pretty good moments. ("We ain't found SHIT!"). I'm with Loogs that it is probably more of a sentimental favorite.

Thankfully, you put "at least" there... But I think that we're really talking "vegetable", there.

Showed my kids the Young Frankenstein "Puttin' On the Ritz" scene this weekend.
Needless to say, they were in hysterics.
