Anyone going to see this? I missed who directed it. I can't tell if it is going to be some knock-off Pulp Fiction type movie or if it will actually be any good.

Some decently noteworthy names in it...

Joe Carnahan directed. He did Narc and Blood, Guts, Bullets & Octane, both of which were decent.

I'll probably see this.

Narc was GREAT but this looks too much like a "let's make a guy ritchie movie! oh wait, we can't get guy ritchie? FULL SPEED AHEAD".

I saw it tonight. It was probably the most violent movie I've seen in awhile but I liked it otherwise it being kind of, like chase said, a Guy Ritchie wannabe movie.

I''l see it on DVD because I like Piven a lot, but probably won't go to the theater for it.

I think I might go see this tomorrow for the hell of it. I've been in the mood for an action-packed, popcorn-swillin' movie and this seems like it's exactly that.

Saw it over the weekend -- Guy Ritchie stylization (read: very "Snatch" -esque both visually and story wise). Lascivious violence. Alicia Keys and Jason Bateman were great in it -- Ben Affleck was annoying as hell. The crazy southern punk guy was great but reminded me of Bucky from last year's American Idol. Ok, I'm rambling. I got in free, so I felt it was worth the price; however, I wouldn't have been pissed if I paid an admission to see it. I suck at being a critic.

Jason Bateman was good but I liked the other girl (Taraji Henson) more than Alicia Keys. The little karate kid was funny at first but soon got annoying. Booger and Jack Shepard are in it too.
