Gaddammit, this Menace album just gets better every spin. Anybody who likes the Drive-by Truckers needs to hunt this thing down.

Westboro Baptist Church

Fuck Fred Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church
Fuck Fred Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church
Fuck him long and hard until his rectum hurts
Fuck Fred Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church

C'mon y'all, let's fuck Pat Robertson
'Cuz four million know he's got no christian love
He took all my grandma's money,
gave it to the 700 Club
C'mon y'all, let's fuck Pat Robertson

C'mon y'all, let's fuck ol' Benny Henn
C'mon y'all, let's fuck that born again
He claims to be a faith healer,
but he's just a charlatan
C'mon y'all, let's fuck ol' Benny Henn

C'mon y'all, let's talk about the president
Everything that comes out of his mouth is a fucking lie
He prays to a god that hates his guts
then sends young boys to die
C'mon y'all, let's fuck the president

Now you born agains don't waste your prayers on me
'cuz the good lord knows I've already been saved
I just pray that I live long enough
to shit on Fred Phelp's grave

Fuck Fred Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church
Fuck him till his ass is raw and sore
Now if god hates fags, asshole,
I'm sure he hates you more
Fuck Fred Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church

I tell ya, man, that kind of sensitivity is hard to come by. And imagine some good ol' shit-kickin' rock'n'roll raging alongside those lyrics. * sniff* It just sorta brings a tear to an old man's eye.

this is true. One of my friends saw these guys recently, and went on about how great they were. I asked him, "Did they sound like this?" and then proceeded to play the DBT's for him. He agreed. Hmmm.

Yeah, Rads has talked them up to me, we are in negotiations over another massive swap of the most mongerous music on the planet. I just gotta me new computer and then get it set up and shit.

Somehow, my little sister came across this band about two years ago -- I never got to listen to their music, but, I always wanted one of their t-shirts. . .

I bought their first album about two years ago. Did nothing for me. It's redneck rock.

Did this come as a shock to you? I don't suppose the band's name might have offered any clues.

Maybe so. I wouldn't put these guys or DBT's into the "redneck rock" genre. I think that genre is solely owned by Kid Rock.

I suppose all music can't be like the Scissor Sisters now can it?

I'll have to check with Josh and see if he's heard of em.

I think if both Radcliffe and Loog can agree on an album, it's something I want to check out.

What exactly do you mean by redneck? See, I got no problem with "redneck."

Now, I know you are a metropolitan gaybo about town and all, but you profess love for Philly.....And no offense to my brother Obnish from the "Sewer of Brotherly Love" but they got some backass motherfuckers up in there that I will take a million rednecks over.

Just be careful what you say or be sure what you mean by it; just cuz.

Trust me, I've met some of them rednecks from Pennsylvania. Some of them are actually related to me. Sad but true...;)

As far as the term "redneck rock", I didn't mean it as a negative term. I was simply categorizing the band.
