[unsolicited opinion]Cap'n does not endorse the airing of dirty laundry / opening of fresh new wounds in public, unless it's between Bloor and GAR. Then it's funny. Otherwise, no.[/opinion]

So far she logged into and deleted my MySpace page, changed the password and deleted emails from my Yahoo email account (i just changed the password back and called them), and I'm pretty sure she logged in to my bank account. Yeah, i'm the fool for not changing the passwords, but jesus christ she's turning into a mental case.

Sucks to see someone you used to adore turn into a creature that you feel you will soon despise. Everything used to be cool until she found out about the new girl that's made me so happy over the past few months.

Anyone have any other fun divorce stories?

:)

I'd cut your dick off.
No fucking remorse.

Edit: do you mean a girl you started seeing post-divorce/separation/break up or whatever? If so she can't get pissed, but I just don't advocate cheating, which is why I said what I said.

PS. I couldn't cut a dick off. I'd pass out in a pool of my own vomit if i did.

actually this is probably the best thing that could've happened to me - blessing in disguise. at first, i was super bummed, but i knew it was coming the past couple of months. and now, i'm on to pursue shit i've been aspiring to do for some time now.

anyway - d, sorry to hear that she went psycho on you... but please tell me you weren't cheating on her? cuz otherwise.....

Even if you weren't, to have a known person lined up so quickly makes the suspicion plausible rather than crazy. She didn't attack you physically, so I'm not voting psycho yet.

Dude, she deleted his myspace page. I mean, do you know what that means? Do you know how long it took D. to get into Tila "Tequila" Nguyen's top 8? Seriously... B---- went over the line with that shit.

<---------------- Still remembers when Tila was just another rack in the Playboy Special Editions. Thinks it was '99 or '00.

I guess. I'm not kids these days enough to be all myspaced. Doesn't seem like too big a deal to me if your spouse, you know the one with all the promises and shit, looks to have been going behind your back. Burn stuff, crazy. Require them to re-social network - hell, he's just subjected her to dating again. Ugh.

<--- not having a good day on about 87 fronts.

Oh. I'm with ye, sister. If one is fool enough to share one's passwords with an s.o., then too slow on the switch to change 'em when things go south, 'most anything therein is fair-game. As long as girl didn't start transferring funds all willy-nilly nor spend money from an unshared account (as re: cracking the online banking), it seems an irrational, but not psychotic, response.

On the other hand, Dale, her actions sort of validate your decision to make a change in your life, don't they?

So, did you cheat on her before you told her you wanted to separate?

edit: gotta read the whole thread i guess

nope. that's not my thing.

update (kinda): the papers are signed, and will be filed by early next week. fairly easy 'cause no kids are involved, just assets.

we haven't spoken in close to a week, and we still live in the same house. yeah, that sucks.

Are you two still sharing a bed/bedroom? When I was separated, we had three months between the shit hitting the fan and him moving to Seattle. One bedroom, 900 sq ft condo and two people who were miserable with each other. Not fun.
