Woot.com sells one item (usually a tech gadget) per day, heavily discounted. Today they're having a wootoff, which means they're selling their entire inventory of random awesomeness, one item after another, till it's all gone. Right now they're selling a floor-washing robot for $189 ($100 of retail). Anyway, if you're in the market for a flash player or something, keep your eyes peeled and your browser refreshing.

Is Haq spamming? Does he have a hidden porn link somewhere in his post?

I think it was the word "flash" that gave it away.

You can always change it back, if you're afraid of the truth.

uh.... now I've out-geeked myself...

Quote:
Can there be any greater expression of man's ingenuity than hacking a robotic vacuum cleaner so that it can pay the Mario Brothers theme? Roombas contain a little beeper and several noisy motors.

So Tod Kurt decided he could put the whole thing under MIDI control, so you can play a Roomba from a MIDI keyboard, or sequence it from a computer.

God I'm almost embarsased to say it, but we had a Roomba and the charging apparatus isn't too robust. Be wary.
