...late Summer, as per the e-mail I just received from their camp regarding his just-released EP with that chick from Spain. I'm guessing the full-length due late Summer is just solo Josh minus that lady.

Hmmm...I liked Nashville a lot, sure did. Then I got 1972 and the one before that and wasn't really feeling it. I sampled Subtitulo at Amoeba and it didn't really grab me. I should prolly give it a chance though.

I have it, though I don't have it on my computer yet. If you want it, send me a PM and I'll get it up for you sometime tonight.

I like Josh, but with every release I become a little less enthused. Kinda how I feel about, say, the Pernice Brothers.

Maybe it's me.

I think I was the only Obner to put Subtitulo in my top 20. It's not as great as 1972 or Nashville for sure but it is good.

New album news is great to hear.

I like Josh, but I wish he would relaease something more akin to "Under The Cold Blue Stars". He's never topped that one.

I liked Nashville better, but UTCBS is definitely #2 in his canon.

Just cracked the She's Spanish EP open today and it's been on constant repeat ever since. This is my first intro to Rouse and i think this is really good. Great album to listen to at work.

Will def have to check out Cold Blue Stars.

I'll be interested in the story behind this one. He's pretty reliable for making "theme" records (although they really don't stick to the theme per se). Pretty smart considering he practically does music journalists' jobs for them by offering up a back story behind each project. If it's Subtitulo Part II, then that's a misstep.

I like him in an old school Counting Crows way....that is, on rare occasions
