My ex-sister-in-law, the one who's now married to the pastor of the church that made worldwide news for arsenic poisonings in the coffee, just informed me the guy who'd been stalking her the past five years has dropped dead of a heart attack, naked in his Cape Cod house apparently.

Just thought I'd mention it.

She dated him right after her divorce from my brother, but the guy turned out to be both a sociopath and a manipulative deadbeat who figured out all her financial information, maxed out all her credit cards, read her diaries and photocopied them, then sent out email newsletters of all the juicy bits
to friends, family and every city employee.

He also used a couple of nude photos he'd taken of her and sent them to the city manager and governor's office with a letter attached explaining how there's a "whore you've got working as city librarian."

There's been a restraining order against for him and he served a short stint in jail for threatening, plus psychiatric care.

He also turned out to have a record of stalking his ex-wife in Cape Cod years ago.

My ex-SIL was scheduled to testify against him on new charges next week and knew the guy's lawyer was going to run her through the mud. So, she's kinda of relieved he keeled over first, as morbid as that sounds.

This is the same lady, by the way, who I posted that she adopted her crackhead firestarter brother's kids last year.

(Also, there was the mormon doctor who bankrolled my brother's college education in order to train him to be his assistant only to turn out he was in love with my brother's wife so when he didn't get what he wanted he sued my brother for all the money and later shot himself in the middle of a canyon in Utah, but that's another story...)

I hope she has better taste in men now. Though, a pastor who poisons his church members COULD be considered shady.

He didn't do the poisoning. He was just the pastor.

Oh, it just occurred to me I probably shouldn't use my sister-in-law's name in this thread. Not that I'd worry she'd google and find it, it's just in case there are copycat sociopaths on here.

Also, you can't always predict when someone is going to be a sociopath and chalk it up to "poor taste in men." The defining characteristic of many sociopaths, at least at the outset, is they seem anything but crazy because they exude charm and self-confidence. Stems from complete self-involvement, but as anyone who's dealt even with a borderline personailty disorder person can attest, the eventual "crazy" first comes across as intellect, compassion and charisma. At first.
