It's already on my to-buy list. Sounds awesome. Let me know if you pick it up (hint hint).

Edit: Here's the blurb from Miles of Music that got me interested:

"Few bands can kick up as much gritty rock & roll dust as The Dexateens, the Tuscaloosa, Alabama band whose grimy, high-octane mix of classic Southern rock and punk panache has left fans fumbling towards the bar for another shot. Now the Dexateens prep their third album, Hardwire Healing, which finds the band further honing its drinking-class, barroom-siftin R&B. All the boys from Alabama have to do is turn on the amps and rip into their songs, and everything the Stones were seeking in the 70s becomes immediately evident in the Dexateens sonic stew."

I dig 'em. Probably heard them a lot more than the DBTs.

I remember urging LooGAR to check them out awhile ago, maybe going so far as sending "Cardboard Hearts" his way like a year or so ago. Good stuff.

Managed by the bar manager of the 40 Watt Club. They are pretty rockin'.

I don't have this...but that means little. This all seems vaguely familiar. Also, could be a good excuse to go to Terscalersca and keep the little woman happy.

Damn, didn't even know she had one coming out.

Anybody know if this Dexateen album will have decent distribution or should I just order off Amazon? Sounds awesome.

Stu?

I didn't really love the samples on myspace...you buy it and tell me how good it is.

Did Patterson Hood do the cover art himself on publisher? That's horrendus.

Lucinda is on 2/13. I think there is new song on the Lost Highway site.
