It is a silly song that fits in its context. Crocodile Rock is the worst song of all time.

How many dicks are at work here? Never mind. I don't really want an answer. Croc Rock is the nadir. Period.

Having seen Hair once, I don't remember hearing this song ever. Talk about suppressed memories.

The only good part of the otherwise horrid Wonka remake (boy, Tim Burton really knows how to ruin a classic, doesn't he?) was when Depp bizarrely quoted lyrics from this song upon greeting his perplexed Golden Ticket winners:

"Good Morning, Starshine...the Earth says HELLO!"

Dude, "Crocodile Rock" isn't even one of Elton John's 10 worst songs, much less worst of all time. I mean, it ain't great, but there's soooooooooooo much out there infinitely terribler (yeah, I know that's not a word).

Rank the top 10 worst songs ever made then, Bobbo.

I can be convinced that Crocodile Rock may not be #1, but it is DAMN SURE gonna be on that top ten list. Ugh.

Ten Elton John songs worse than "Crocodile Rock" (in no order):

1. "Can You Feel TEH LURV Tonight?"
2. "Candle in TEH WIND (Princess Di Paparazzi Death Remix)"
3. "Believe" (almost worse than the unrelated Cher vocoder fest by the same name)
4. "I Don't Wanna Go On With You Like That"
5. "Circle of Life" (again with TEH LION KING)
6. "I Want Love" (Robert Downey Jr.'s "comeback")
7. "SACRIFICE"
8. "Who Wears These Shoes?"
9. "Nikita" (neither as touching nor moving as "Leonid" or "Mikhail")
10. "Blessed" (if I had a little more of my Dad's genes, this is what I'd want playing when I tied the knot with Bitados)

I will concede, though, that "Crocodile Rock" is #11.

Back in the mid-80s, a fraternity at Northwestern locked all of its pledges in a room for 24hrs while repeatedly playing "We Built This City."

I don't play worst-song games anymore. I know way too many and all of them hurt.
