That's for showing people how cool you are that only [insert number here] of your top 20 made the overall top 20.

Similar idea, I guess.

COUNTDOWN! ONLY X MORE HOURS LEFT TO VOTE IN THE SHMOO POLL EVERYBODY!

Yeah, it's hard to say who's craves attention more, me or you.

I'm guessing you do though.

I brought nothing up about craving attention, so I'm not sure where that came from.

Are you suggesting that next year I don't publicize the poll?

The correct answer for worst ever is "Walk the Dinosaur" by Was Not Was. Top UK chart position: #10. Top US chart position: #7.

There have been some really terrible choices for terrible songs.
"Ring of Fire", "Creep", "Loving You" and "I Believe In A Thing Called Love"?

No sir. No.

I completely agree with whoever said "Your Body Is A Wonderland".

I would like to add:

Papa Roach's first single. That song still makes my blood boil.

Chumbawumba - I get knocked down...

JOAN OSBOURNE - WHAT IF GOD WAS ONE OF US

Alanis Morissette - Ironic

Not a good song, but I give it some weird kinda props for being one of the more odd #1 hits of the last 25 years. It's like 2 completely ill-fitting musical ideas crammed together.

I have to take exception to this... not because the song sucks (which it does), or that it's not Ghey (which it is), but because CHAKA KHAN DOES NOT SING IT. It's sung by a woman named Denise Williams (just looked it up on Google).

Anyway, Chaka is too freaking great to record a piece of tripe like that.

I came into this thread to say that I had already won it, but damn if this doesn't comes close.

I still attempt suicide everytime I hear "True" tho.

Okay, I admit I was wrong, this thread is strangely compelling. I think it was just the people posting overplayed but not awful things that annoyed me.

Also, I have to ask, regarding these:

ARETHA FRANKLIN - (You Make Me Feel) Like A Natural Woman

Do you just hate these versions, or the originals too? I don't think I've ever heard Cher's cover. Is it really bad?
