herein the football

I've watched none of the pregame shows yet. Don't want to be worn out and irritated by this evening.

I wish I had never turned it on - the weepy Brian's Song/Sweetness/Tony Dungy's son/Black coach stories are really annoying me.

I've found that I enjoy the games more if I don't watch the pregame shows.

It's amazing what pussies football players can be when they're "telling they story" in tv bio pieces. Don't know if that's the network/directors fault or if every fucking football player had his momma die of leukemia and had a little brother with a club foot and swam across the gulf of mexico twice a week just to get to the store.

This is the one where you can't touch the ball with your hands, right?

Who's playing the half-time show that I can make fun of?

Seriously though, I'm leaving in about ten minutes to pick up some beverage and head to my friend's. Considering it's 3 degrees out, I'm not really looking forward to it.

I spent the morning re-watching Super Bowl XX on the VHS tape I made in 1985.

The commercials made back then are priceless, whatever happened to Wang computers.

Wikipedia says Dr. Wang tried to hang onto to proprietary designs instead of going with standardized software and couldn't compete by the early 90's. Filed bankruptcy in '92. Also apparently his son Fred was a terrible c-e-o in the late 80's.

Off to TEH Party. Last time I was this meh about a Super Bowl was the Giants v. Ravens in 2000/01. I truly do not give a fuck about either of these teams, but will be rooting for The Bears, by default.

I think Dan Marino and Phil Simms will get into a fist fight in their struggle to suck Peyton Manning's dick the hardest.

Commentator James Brown just said, "the game between The Indianapolis Colts and The Miami Dolphins is coming up next " and no one noticed.

Fuck that, fat ass.

Oh, now here comes that Cirque De So Gay shit.

That was disgusting.

Is that the first decapitation in Superbowl history?
