Happy Birthday, if I see you, I will bake you a cake.

But you won't because you won't. Empty promises!

Instead, you should have fun in his honor, per his request.

I could see him. You don't even know.

And you bet your fucking ass I will have fun in his honor tonight.

Yeah I'm just playin' anyway. I wouldn't have come because I was pretty tired/hungover. Plus we're having dinner tonight. No need to hang out two nights in a row.

Just went to the local "Birthday" joint near campus. They give you free tap beer all day on your birthday. Had a bigass burger, some fries, and several beers. Aaaand now I have class until 5. Yee haw.

Happy Birthday,
I feel good to be in the same league as you looks wise in comparison to actual age.

shit, Mills went to hell there the last few years I was in town... grey in the beard, bags under the eyes, but then I guess 20 years' worth of blow and screwing undergrads will take a toll on anybody.

Oh Mills was definately the monger of that group, dispite Michael's raging PPDD fetish.

I always had Peter Buck pegged as the McGruff of that group.

Oh Buck's no slouch, as the airline industry will surely attest. But Mills is the sleeper you don't see coming - looks innocent, but up to no good. The stories I heard were pretty damn mongerific.

The Boy Derris has some choice Mills stories.

I completely agree he looks younger than I do for being almost a year younger than he is. I just said we were in the same league, even when I do sport facial hair.
That said, the commentary following on Mike Mills was pure brilliance.

I envy you man. The only one of The Cars I'm starting to resemble as I age is a 1974 Mercury Grand Marquis.

Yeah, Mills has gone to hell the last few years. Is he sick?

I do hear he's the only one of the boys you'd really want to party with. Good tipper, fun drunk.

That Bucky-on-the-airplane trial was literally down the street from my first apartment in the UK.

That said, happy belated Kyle.
