If Sesame Street still isn't capable of funding itself, someone needs to do an audit on what happened to all that "Tickle Me Elmo" revenue, 'cause that shit could fund the entire series run of Lost.

I think something like 85% of the PBS budget is from private funding. That $100 million is like 7% of the operating budget of PBS.

It isnt quite all that disastrous for PBS, while it is an overtly shitty thing for the GOP to do, considering we've already been asked for war funds for 2008
