Hmmm, obviously any Ramones song where they count it off.

Strangely the first one that came to mind was the drunken count off for:

You Ain't the First - Guns N Roses

Used to Love Her is another good one by them. Bitchin, Fussin, Cussin.

Count off for Hey Ya - Outkast

There is a count off in the middle of Born to Run on that Bruce Live 75-85 that is far and away the best one.

Good one.

I'd say the Ramones always did it best.

A friend of mine led a band called The Milligrams. One of the songs led off with a wonderful count-in that only people who have lived in Chicago for any amount of time could appreciate:

5-8-8-2-3-hundred

I'll try to get that ripped next week for y'all if I can; if this thread is still hanging around at that time.

Yes, Empire.
I thought that they sold airtime separately on the local channel and the "Superstation".

Still, I grew up with that jingle and I smile every time I hear it.

"Holland, 1945" by Neutral Milk Hotel.

Especially hot if you're about to have sex and this starts. It's like a countdown to booty.
