you can hear it on their myspace page. i gotta say, i love it, despite the bruce hornsby-esque sound (or maybe because of it).

Haven't heard it yet, but I suppose I'll take a few minutes to check it out.

Heard it during the week. Unmemorable

Though I suppose it's going to be unavoidable soon enough, and drilled into my brain

I prefer the Frogstomp sound. It's impressive though that the band has stayed completely intact over the years.

Weird how Daniel's heyday was 1995 and he's considered a has-been for the most part, while people like Isaac Brock or Ben Gibbard are older than him and are considered current.

I tried to like Diorama, but failed. I heard the new Silverchair song recently since my bro likes all things Daniel Johns. Kinda new wavey from what I remember...I was indifferent.

Yeah, I have the same sort of feelings for them as I do the New Radicals, who were mentioned on here a while back.
I just never got the fascination people had with them. I'll give their frontman some credit, I know he has battled some weird health issues in the past and he is still making music.
Maybe I'm just Aussiephobic when it comes to music.

Always have and always will. And I doubt a Bruce Hornsby influence will help much - it never helped Bruce Hornsby.

Not a fan of the early MTV stuff so much, but the last two records they put out were pretty solid.

I didn't even know anyone here took these guys seriously.
Never paid much attention to them, myself?
They got something that I should hear? For real?

Neon Ballroom is not a bad rock record. Kind of ambitious for a bunch of youngens!
