Daunte needed to think more before giving away pieces of bling that belonged to Daunte. That kid had no right to ask Daunte for Daunte's bling.

If Dante's going to fall for heckling from the kid in the wheelchair and Dante's gives "ice" to the wheelchair heckler, Dante should lose said "ice" if it was a case of "what was I thinking.. other than trying to be a big shot up on this stage in front of my peers". As a PR suggestion, just buy it back or replace it with the same and save face. Asking it back and sending a jersey and signed football is not how to handle this situation.. Dante.

hey, fuck that kid. if i was doing a charity event and some kid asked me in front of a room full of people "hey, can i have that?", i'd say sure you ungrateful little bastard, when you walk over here and take it from me. the more i read about this the more i think that that kid put him on the spot and deserves what he did or did not get from culpepper.

The kid didn't put Daunte on the spot, Daunte put himself on the spot.

Kid asks you if he could have some of that jewelry around your neck, you laugh it off like a joke, as the kid meant it. You don't take it off and give it to the kid as if it's a gift.

i would think that daunte thought it was a joke too, and responded in kind, until...that reaction doesn't sound like a joke to me.
