Anyone had a listen to this yet?

Came out on the 6th apparently.

It's a "retrospective".

Timis?

Well I've heard almost every song on it, which is like hearing it.

A lot of good choices, although I would have probably included 1 or 2 more from Good Dog, Bad Dog.

Being a highly devoted fan of all things OTR, it's not what my best of what would look like. A good intro though.

But Good Dog Bad Dog is a must own.

I fucking love this band, everything I hear from them is better than the last. Although, I have not pursued their albums on my own, so I am eagerly awaiting this Timis Broadcast.

I did not love "Drunkards Prayer" like I've loved the other ones.

I would like to, but each time they plan to come through any place in close proximity to where I live, it gets cancelled. In 2001, they were supposed to be touring with Cowboy Junkies so I planned to see them then, only to find out they pulled out of the tour a few days prior to the scheduled live date. Then, they were supposed to come again around the time Ohio was released and they stopped mid-tour to work on their marriage or something....

I agree here. I haven't seen them yet but they haven't come through since I discovered them.

I picked up Drunkard's Prayer after seeing some praise here but I really started digging them after hearing the live album.

Thrillhouse, they make this sort of melancholy pop that is similar to stuff like Beth Orton and the Cowboy Junkies. Good songs. Can be very pop to stark, brooding folk workouts to almost gospel-esque tunes all sung by a girl with an amazing voice.
