Been busy with work, rehearsing, recording. Plus obner just came up on the blocked sites list at work.

I accidentally took a half day of personal leave today.

1. been recording chalk outlines, working on an ep for sxsw, so only a few hours the previous night.

2. gig last night, didn't get home till 2. had to be up at four to get deena to work at five.

3. colin was drunk last night at the gig, and also had to open at his job at 6:30

4. i realized he probably wasn't going to do that so i left sbux for home and laid down for an hour knowing that between my alarm and his 2 alarms, I would wake up and then wake him up.

5. woke him up at 6. and at 6:15, and he left in an "oh shit i'm gonna be late" flurry of activity.

6. wha happened?

7. secretary at school called, very sweet, took a half day so i'll just go to the second school, now i feel like an unprofessional turd. Even though I got everyone else in the house to work.

8. shit.

obner is banned?

I guess they filter the visited sites by number of views, and then start banning from the top down. (Or was it a big brother language scanner?)

to wit:

polenta with a caramelized onion / mushroom cream sauce

atlantic scallops crusted in cayenne and black pepper, with a red pepper tapenade

maine lobster tails, butterflied, with the cream sauce

seafood risotto

stuffed blue crabs

in the words of my roommate / bandmate / and when i'm alcohol-addled, part-time nurse: "food is love."

i feel loved.

Wait, first make sure going to Austin comes with being fed by Phil. Years I've been looking at this dude's menus and drooling.

I take it you put out, Colin? I mean, come the fuck on... nobody cooks a meal like that unless they're looking for reciprocation. That was goddam decadence!
