Chillin' literally and figuratively

Friday Evening: Went to the Lovedrug acoustic concert. Had 2 beers... Stoudt's Scarlet Lady and Lancaster Brewing Company's Strawberry Wheat. Will finish off the evening playing MVP Baseball 2004 on my Gamecube.

Saturday: w*rk, then any combination of television, gamecube, and food. Perhaps some homework mixed in to make things interesting.

Sunday: church, if i can get up in time... I've been so tired this week that the probability of that happening is somewhat low. Then lots of brain-frying screen-related activities... computering, tving, gaming.

Tonight: getting over the workweek. Starting on the assortment of random beers in my fridge (some Red Hook, Pyramid Apricot Heff, Woodie Gold), as I've been buying more than I've had time to drink. Pizza ordered. Departed on top of the DVD player.

Rest of the weekend: Possibly one of the 2 Flaspar shows in L.A., some jogging, maybe visiting a friend or 2, and trying to convince myself to take the whole day off on Monday.

tonight: started drinking with the office crew; came home, had a few more & chilled. Tough week

tomorrow: Mrs. Gordo works, so I have the kiddies all day. Couple of basketball games, then maybe take 'em bowling. Tomorrow night, out with friends. Possibly portuguese food in Newark; lots of sangria involved.

Sunday: Couple of indoor soccer games, pack for...

Monday: Heading down to Disneyworld for the week with the family, my parents & my brother's family. Ah, the ultimate non-vacation vacation. At least it will be in the 70s all week.

later on friday: went to a dance party in the basement of an elks lodge. it was sketchy but cool.

Carnival week begins here, so I covered up my in town signage to protect against wild kid vandals, then just now the mayor busted my wife not finishing her tequila shot.
mayor: ayyayyayyayyyayy--ayy!
wife: (taking small sip of tequila, then passing it to waiter) ayyyyy!
mayor: I saw that, I see everything, you know
wife: got me, its my tummy...I've been drinking red wine
mayor: this time I'll allow it. Be in the park later or else.
So:
maybe head into town and check the full tilt action at the old soccer fields.

last night was a big mess. went to some private party w/ an open bar and got really drunk and danced. i think i put my coat on upside down when i was leaving.

chilled out sunday and met crack & crackette for dinner and a few drinks.

slept most of the day yesterday and then went to a private party for bang camaro and had too many beers/drinks. i had this caffienated beer called moonshot. it was kinda gross.

Bacchus parade. Loaded the wine flask, Hemmingway style, and prepared for Dionysian debauchery.

I went to school (well, I was enrolled) up in Ruston, but most of my good friends were from in and around NO. Some still live there, some have moved on to start families & careers.
