Anybody digging this?

Not heard anything by these boys before this, but really enjoying this album. The song structures of "City Of Echoes", "Dead Between The Walls" & "Spaceship Broken-Parts Need" are hitting the right spots.

Just downloaded this yesterday. I'm a fan.

Was thinking about a posting a few tracks if there was any interest.

I have heard that this is less heavy and more controlled than the other records, can you confirm. Over.

Why?

Have you trashed binned it?

It has a subtle base to it, a slow burner. Hell it's no top ** list of the year material yet but i quite like it.

Mr. Cockroach took the words right out of my mouth. Here's a track that I particularly like.

Pelican - Lost In The Headlights

Ay, that Titan blew me away, and the critics still think they have even more to give. I look forward to it.

I'm not sure how this Pelican will stand in the long term but i have a funny feeling it's gonna continue to grow and grow on me. We'll see.

Yeah i nearly listed that track. In fact i am really digging the first track "Bliss In Concrete" a lot. It reminds me a wee bit of the last Harvey Milk record with it's slow groovy build. Although Harvey milk rocked x 10.

Just got an email from Inoxia Records, who have the Japanese version of City Of Echoes available as of May 5 (the regular US version is due June 5). Two discs for Japan - CD and DVD, with the DVD being a 6-track pro-shot live show from LA. There are reportedly no plans to offer this DVD or performance anywhere else (the band has a DVD scheduled for this fall, however - just not this show.) If you want, follow the link above, then select "mail order list English" from the pane at left, and "Daymare Recordings" from the many links you get on the next page. They really need to update their site - frames are so crappy.

OH, and the price - $27 plus $4 shipping, and they ship VERY fast. I ordered Jesu's Conqueror and got it in something like 5 days from Japan. Awesome service.
