hey man, i'm just getting this now. i've spent the last two days at your former employers lakewood training facility...not sure if you had ever had the pleasure of being stuck in there for a couple of days?

anyways, i do have that decemberist/okkervil river show marked on my calendar. i'm definitely hoping to hit it.

i still haven't heard autolux. don't know why...it sound's like something i'd be in to. but i'm kinda meh on the secret machines, so i don't think i'll be hitting that.

kings of convenience are going to be at the fox in march as well....

how was the move? how are you liking being up north?

move went ok. still settling in. fine being up north, but weird driving back into denver, not even seeing the city til 84th-ish...

I've no business responding in this thread, but I would highly recommend you two knuckleheads attend the Okkervil River show. Their newer material is rawer and not nearly as folksy as the debut. It seems they've started to incorporate the electric (fuzzy distortion + moog) to their repertoire - a departure from their earthy debut sound.
