 Post subject: Need a reasonably cheap, spacious, external hard drive?

i got a western digital external HD and it was horrible.
it took forever for my comptuer to recognize it, somtimes as much as 5 minutes.

i returned it.

If you wanna do least expensive, just buy an internal and then pick up an external enclosure with USB connect for about $10. You can put the thing together in about five minutes, assuming you aren't baffled by a screwdriver.

Whaaaa? They gave it 4 out of 5 stars and said "If you just need more storage space and aren’t after a fully-fledged back-up solution, the My Book is a good choice as it offers solid value and performance."
