Even though I think "Black White Town" rips off "Heatwave" and the album as a whole is pretty similar to Meadowlands in that it's pretty good, but not jizz-in-my-underoos good if that's what that comparison may imply.

Dripping Dream - Sonic Youth

Dripping Dream is just a really diverse song with it bouncing between guitar pop on sonic freak-out. 'Sonic Nurse' continues to floor me. I feel like I discover something new with each listen. I had it at #3 on my year end list, but I think if I remade the list, this album would be #1.

i really like that album, as i think i've made clear. if you rip it a new one i will dedicate my life to making enjoying Spoon a relatively painful process.
