The Dinosaur Jr. album is a classic and deserves to be in your collection. I believe it's going to be reissued soon so you might want to wait

Lanegan's album is great, but a bit darker than his Screaming Trees stuff

You're Living all Over Me and Bug can pretty much be your entire Dinosaur collection. I would call both essential records to own.

I saw Thinking Fellers Union open for Nirvana wya back in '92 & thorught they were a good live band, but I've never listened to a record. It wouldn't surprise me if it were good.

I personally think Field Songs is Lanegan's best effort and is a much better use of your time/money than Whiskey.
