Nah, it's cool. I figured someone would make a comment. I just thought people might find this news interesting, since someone else posted about the hot air balloon that crashed here during that guys record attempt.
A ton of marijuana seems like a lot, since most of the major busts I read about are usually less than 500lbs and closer to 60lbs on average.

lol, you have to excuse Rodney and us other Northwesterners - there is so much pot grown and transported and thus busted around here that a Ton doesn't seem like that much.......

Yeah, we're usually accustomed to reading about major meth lab bust. They are so hardcore about searching for drugs along I-80 that most people aren't dumb enough to transport a ton of marijuana here.

Huh. Pot busts must be the thing right now- there was just a big bust here (well, in Jackson and Barrow counties) this weekend. Not nearly as big as the two already mentioned, but big enough that I predict a dry spell in Athens for a month or so.
