Yes, that SAT. The math sections are going to be the death of me. I did some reviewing, but it's just been too long... wish me luck.

Good luck.
Oh, and to put you at-ease about the mat...
If I remember correctly (which I very well may not), the Math section is still pretty much reading comprehension, just about math-related stuff.

Did I remember correctly?

Good luck. I can't imagine how badly I'd do on the math portion now.

Good luck. I've never taken the SAT, but I imagine that it must suck.

Good Luck. I only applied to my stupid state school that liked the ACT, so I have no tips.

They WERE the death of me.

I'd be willing to wager everything I own that I hold the record for lowest SAT score of anyone to later earn a Master's degree. Don't bother asking me the score, because I'm taking it to my grave. Let's just say Tark probably couldn't have even gotten me into UNLV during his heyday.

Yeah, the ACT saved my ass. Got me into a sub-ZZZ grade state university.

Yeah, living in the Midwest and not being able to afford to attend any East Coast schools, all I had to take was the ACT. I also took the GRE to get into Grad School. I didn't even sweat the math portion of that test, since I hadn't take a real math class in about four years and could barely retain any math knowledge. Surprisingly I think I scored about 50 pts better than the average GRE math score.

I got a 580 on the Math and a 420 on Reading Comprehension. My freshman year in college I had a far more expansive vocabularly than any of those other people who got 1400-1500 scores. This was back in '92, so maybe the scale is different now, but don't sweat it. These tests are in no way indicitave of your intellectual prowess. I understand there is an essay portion to the SAT nowadays, so if that had been part of the criteria when I took the SAT's my score would have been much higher. I suck at multiple choice, but that doesn't mean I'm any less smart than people who guessed better than me. Same goes for the ACT. Colleges should focus on GPA and your essay. SAT and ACT tests are fucking biased.

My question as well. I was guessing The Grill has upped its employee training requirements a shitload.

This surprises no one though it is probably in the 90th percentile for the people on this board.
