 Post subject: ok, i need to ask a really embarrassing question.

well, there's easy way to ask this, but allow me a brief disclaimer... american idol is on in my house. no two ways about it, that's how it is. my 'house' at the moment is a studio apartment, so there's no hiding from it.

now, last night, they are advertising the o.c. because i guess they are not making any more. what a shame! anyway, there's a song playing on the ad. now it's in my damn head and i just can't place it.

does anyone know what i am talking about? it's a little keyboard part is all. then it changes to some whiny song about the great state of california that makes me happy i left there. please help me identify the song and then never speak of this again. good day!
