on my old pc and internet explorer i could just go to msn games and play a bunch of cool games. now i cannot. is there a place for cool, free, online games for a mac + safari person to play? if you are familiar with msn games we are looking for bejeweled or text twist or something like that. this is more for the mrs than myself. so user-friendly is the order of the day.

You can try to download some widget games for your desktop (Dashboard if you have a recent version of Mac OS) from the Apple site. I don't know of any that are really like what you're looking for, though. There may be some other places where you can get some, too. I haven't really looked around.

have you considered using Firefox for Mac as your browser instead of Safari?

i would consider it if you can 100% guarantee that it won't fuck anything up on my new baby computer.

Firefox won't mess up anything on a Mac.

Does the MSN games site require Internet Explorer? If so, using Firefox probably won't help you for this particular problem.

well it says "games work best with IE" but i'm interpreting that to mean "if you don't have IE you can't play nyah nyah nyah"

Well, it might work with Firefox. There are some things that work with Firefox and not Safari.
