I saw Folk Implosion at Schuba's like 5 years ago and only 1 of the 2 dudes showed up. I was not very knowledgable about music then, so I don't know which one wasn't there.

He had a tape recorder of the other dude's parts, playing instruments and singing and what not, and played that into the mic so he could play along. I thought it was pretty brilliant.

Anyone know which guy I actually saw? Was it Lou?

I think he did have glasses, but it was 5 years ago and the place was dark and stuff.

i saw lou at cmj earlier this year, and it was fucking awful. tremendously awful. so awful that the people i was there with left and missed the arcade fire. what happened to the lou that we all loved from sebadoh et al. ?
