I've got requests for:

Riviera - Broken Hearted Dreams
Riviera - At The End Of The American Century...
Paper Airplane Pilots - The History Of Flying
Pole Position - XO Edition 2

I can't part with them though. I guess they'll just have to go buy their own. :P

That's right, make 'em pay. Daddy needs a new pair of everything.

And for the record, "Western Automatic Music" isn't in the database yet.

But see, I don't understand why people put things up on lala that they have no intention of trading. It makes no sense. Are you trying to show off yr collection?

It is a way of getting better recommendations. If it's in my list, it doesn't recommend it to me.
Plus putting my whole collection in there made me dig out a few singles and crap that I forgot I even had which people have actually been looking for.

what you're supposed to do with cd's you have but don't want to trade is to mark them "keep" in your profile. apparently timmy's just a tease.

People have no idea whether I have them listed as keep or not, they just know I have it and they aren't receiving it. (I could be ship throttled, which I am close to being.)
You still have the option to ship them whether they are marked keep or not.

i don't think you're right. i don't get any requests for the cds i have marked "keep," and i've got enough of them on there that i'm sure i would otherwise.

once you mark the cd's you want to keep, there's a ship button next to them that will unhighlight if you decide you don't want to keep the cd after all.

To see cd's that you have marked "keep" that are requested, you have to Click on the Have list, and then click on requested cd's, then uncheck the box that says "Do not show Cd's marked as Keep."

Another good reason to input all your cd's is to note which cd's of mine that I am unwilling to trade are in demand. This way if I come across one in the $1 bin, I'll snap it up and have one for trading.

Hey Timmy, thanks for putting this thread up. That's really cool. I'm going to put some of the old titles up on lala and see if I can generate some buzz on them.

I wanted to let you know that all the SK stuff will be up on emusic as of 4/1. Took long enough, I know.

Sweet.

How do you add titles to Lala? Or do you mean you are sending some copies out?

(FYI, Lala has streaming radio stations for the users, but they can only add music that people can stream if they own the disc, so if you want me to add some Spade Kitty music to my station, you'll need to send them copies of the discs.)
