If you haven't already done it, check out the Rotten Tomatoes page on this movie. It got a 1% which is unheard of. I know Uwe Boll probably makes bad movies on purpose but the review snipits alone are worth the read.

If it's as bad as that movie about the Killer Tooth Fairy, I'll have to see it at least on DVD.

That is the most annoying site ever. I couldn't even read the review because there were balloons and shit popping up in front of the text.

Even without them being the sole Yay vote on this piece of crap, I don't think I'd ever respect the opinion of a site designed like that.

Darkness Falls? Man, I was expecting so much more comedy out of that film - or at least something Hott involving that hot chick that played Anya on "Buffy"....

Tara Reid? Christian Slater? Uwe Boll, who is possibly the worst director ever?

I'm totally going to see this in the theater, if I can find someone to go with...

I'm going in 3.5 hours, after several drinks. I'll report back.

Are there now two (2) threads about this wondrous piece of art?

You can make another Black Mountain thread if you feel that it's under-represented.

No hurry, they'll show up soon enough. It'll either be the Black Mountain Tour Dates thread or the I Just Saw Black Mountain thread.

Some topics are so powerful that they can't be contained in just one thread...

Also, I have a knack for starting threads about topics previously covered in other threads.

Yeah. Darkness Falls. It hurt my soul to finish watching it. I did it to protect the rest of society. I run out into the street like Charlton Heston ever night pleading with anyone who will listen to not, for...god's...sake..and...all...that's...holy, not, not watch this film.

So it was pretty fetid. It was so grainy most of the time (since a lot of it was in "The Dark") that it looked like it was shot on DV. There's this ridiculous sequence where they're wandering around a museum and the lights are flickering on and off inexplicably that is seriously straight out of "The Relic," as are the monsters. If I had to tell you what the plot was, I'm not sure I could.

Pretty funny article about Uwe Boll and the making of this movie. I guess it's true.
