Country Quiz

I got 112/192. You will get your shit all fucked up if you don't try to go in some sort of logical order.

Yeah, the correct spelling part is the worst.

102/192

I can't believe I got Laos but forgot about France.

I also have, apparently, been spelling Belgium wrong all of my life.

90/192. Boo me. Easily recognized at least 30 countries on my missed list, too.

It wasn't that I couldn't spell Herzegovina... it's that I forgot the 'and'. I did, however, misspell Liechtenstein.

Huh. When I did this before, there were 245 not 192, and I got around 120 of them. But it had non-countries like Bermuda and Puerto Rico in there, so maybe they changed it. I'll try it again now.

I got all but 65. I forgot some that I got last time!

And I couldn't figure out how to type "Bosnia and Herzgovinia" and "Republic of the Congo" in there for them to recognize it (just tried "Congo"). Also, is Taiwan not a member of the UN?

Taiwan isn't. I also couldn't get Congo either. I think the closest I got was Republic of Congo, no "the".

When I did it the first time, they had "Republic of China" and "People's Republic of China" but I guess they changed that too.

Sigh.

I didn't count how many i got but I'm quite sure it was the lowest total so far. I knew I was doomed when I finally got what they were looking for the USA and saw that I had used up over a minute to get my first country and my own one to boot. I had to punt on a few other countries like that but only after I'd wasted a ton of time working on variations of spelling and full names. And who knew that Nebraska wasn't a country?

It's the Democratic Republic of Congo. Things were so much more simply when it was plain old Zaire.

Apparently, Democratic Republic of Congo and Republic of the Congo are two different places.

True! DRC is pretty much hell on earth, ROC's...better than that. You sometimes see them as Congo (Kinshasa) and Congo (Brazzaville). At one point I thought I had messed these up and would have to redo a chunk of dissertation.

I should be excellent at this, based on said dissertation, but I got 96.
