Why? Why do we have to change our clocks? Some antiquated theory about helping farmers have more time to work is a bit moot at this point considering they have enormous tractors and combines, etc. that have huge spotlight headlights on them.
:
Why do we have to have it get dark at 4:30pm EST in the winter and dark at 9:30 EST pm in the summer?

Let's just get rid of this crap already. I don't want to lose an hour of my day (sleep) anymore! :)

Seems like it's backwards - dark in the wintertime before 5 and sunlight in the summer well past 9.

I blame the moon.

I don't give a fuck about changing the clocks, I'm just happy for the extra daylight

Aren't there some states who currently do not recognize the time changes?

Having to be at work at 7am (new time, so 6am in my brain) this morning SUCKED. I am in a mostly vegetative state at that time of day. I can't comprehend anything anyone says to me that early. I want my hour back.

Oh yeah, I'll get it back in 6 months. Gee. Can't wait.

The lesson in this thread is that we all don't wake up early enough.

Yeah, I hate it. Feels like summer now and it's only March. Plus it's damn hot today.

It's not that big a deal.

In my house the time is always (flashing) 0:00 (flashing).

haha.

I'm in the "more daylight = good" camp.

Seems like I have more time to get shit done outside of work. When it's dark at 6:30 I just want to go home.

Thanks for that. I'm more annoyed that we're not changing clocks at the same time anymore. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but remembering you were always 5 hours behind (instead of the 4 that is for the next few weeks) was always pretty convenient.

I'm not a fan of getting up when it's still dark outside (and I don't even get up that early). But I will definitely enjoy it being light later, especially when it gets and stays warm outside.

We should just all make our own time. Like, right now, it's 4pm for me. Time to go home.

Timis, did you remove me from your music list or have you not been sending recent updates?

I just hate this fucking work computer that won't even let me in to change the time to get it right.
