Band Madness

Only 104 votes separate Tenacious D (up) from Cat Stevens.

Vote Cat.

Also, I love that Wu-tang/Aphex pairing.

More importantly (if such a word can be used to describe this site I'll never visit again), help Portishead beat Barenaked Ladies!

Even with only two albums under her belt, I'd love to see Kelly Clarkson (swoon!) beat Red Hot Chili Peppers, as well.

Make it happen, brahs.

Shit, MBV v. Wire...wtf? How am I supposed to adequately vote on that one?

Gotta admit Outkast vs Donovan and Michael Jackson vs Los lobos is pretty inspired

But Devo vs P-Funk is not funny. That one was hard.

Also was stymied by Gordo vs Dre.

You, too? Huh. Imagine that.

As it is, I hear "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" at least every other day on the radio at work, & I have to admit, if the Mars Volta covered it, it would absolutely blow the nation's mind.

The Decemberists will someday do "Canadian Railroad Trilogy" and half their fans won't know they didn't write it.

That was fun...can't believe Portishead is behind Bare Naked Ladies.

A few really tough choices for me. Devo vs. Parliment was a close call for me.

My wife was pissed at me for voting Dre over Gordon Lightfoot.

And, yeah, Wu-Tang vs. Aphex was a tough call as well.

Now I'm pissed I missed the first bracket.

I can't believe Neil Diamond is walking all over Big Daddy Kane.

It's time to shut down the internet.

Be sure to catch the next episode of American Idol where instructions will be given on when and how to commit mass suicide.
