wait, didn't I see you with plastic beads on at that flaming lips show???

your response surprises me...though at least neither of us are going to brave Jackyl at Fado's

Yeah, I haven't had my coffee this morning.

Fado is insane. Too much. Maybe if I was 22 again.

I think I just like the idea of hanging out with a bunch of friends, drinking copious amounts of Guiness and Bushmills, listening to The Pogues, then going out when I'm too drunk to care about the crowds.

I actually may go to McCrays or Brewhouse Cafe.

I like the James Joyce Irish Pub but I don't want to go out to Avondale Estates.

Wench and I are leaning towards the okey, and I think Saturday night's hostess will have Steve Earle's "Galway Girl" on-hand. Shit is ON!

I'll give you this.

It's gotta be homemade, though. Not that spammy shit.

I don't classify the Corn Beef Hash that is in tins next to the Devil's Ham, Spam, Treet and Potted Meat to be Corn Beef or any other form of real food.

As for me...1) I didn't realize or care it was St. Paddy's until I saw a Happy St. Patrick's Day sign outside my building. 2) I guess I might go to my dad's and just lay my head under the Guinness Tap.

Just because I don't have anything for you to stuff in your face when you come over doesn't mean I don't have food during the week. I eat out on the weekends.

1) Too self involved to notice anything other than the 3 feet in front of you.

2) We can't all subsist on free Guiness and Olive Garden.

Irish food is the worst on the planet next to Korean.

On the contrary, Derris. When I was in Dublin I discovered the joys of the BSC sandwich, that is, Bacon-Wrapped Sausage and Coleslaw on a baguette. It was sublime. I ate it every day I was there and probably took years off my life.

I totally missed this. I guess this is why this came up in chat?

What Korean food have you had, and where did you have it?

I ask because there's some stuff I love and some I can't stand. Some of the random seafood stuff (like sea urchin) freaks me out. I'm also not crazy about the soups.

Going to see Clipse at the Belly-Up, then to some pub to do the drink thing. Assuming I get over this cold that's been holding me under half the week. Maybe even if I don't.

lol @ you guys chatting all the time. Seems pointless to bring up the "when do you people work?" thing again. But I do wonder.

I drank at a non-Irish bar with 7 or so friends until I got hungry for some stuffed pizza and left.

Home now for reprieve. I've been drinking since 11am. Cheap beer does nothing. More partying this evening.

I started drinking Manhattan's about two hours ago (recently rediscovered the Manhattan as another cocktail option). Watching more hoops.

I drank a shot of Bushmills, a shot of Tulamore Dew, three pints of Smithwicks and a pitcher of Boulevard Irish Ale. I was headed to another bar until I noticed it was way too busy to get into before last call.
