Just out of curiosity. I had MD and Long Beach St in the round of 16 but no further, so I'm not totally broken. . . yet.

Nope. The only sweet sixteen team I lost was Maryland but I had them losing.

In one of my work pools I had a "Swing for the Fences" Bracket with Louisville in the Final 4. My others are all fine, though.

I'm in good shape...the only Sweet 16 losses to date is Wash St. and I have G-Town beating them.

You got KU winning it all, Diggity?

I am anticipating this upcoming game...see if Self can get em out of the first weekend.

Yeah, in 1 bracket ( I did 3 ) . I always do 1 "homer" bracket, even in KU's "off" years. In that bracket I've got KU/Wisc/TX/TX A&M - with us beating A&M in the final.

Ditto. Though it hinges on Kentucky taking out Kansas.

UNLV's Rapin' Rebels taking down Wisky, though, was a huge break for me. I doubt many had Las Vegas advancing... Meanwhile, I have them in the Final Four.

Fingers crossed.

(Final four: UCLA (champ), Georgetown (runner-up... i.e., & prolly by UGA logic, first loser ("if ye ain't first, yer last")), Ohio State, UNLV.)

Had a pretty disasterous first round but I've rallied pretty well.

I've still got 13 of the Sweet 16, 7 of the Elite 8. All of my Final Four.

True to form, just about all the teams left can really put up points with their guard play.

Not surprised that Texas went out (I had em going out next round) but they weren't even in it today. Completely shit the bed.

Lon Kruger and Tim Floyd have shown that they are better in the college ranks after monumentally sucking as NBA coaches.

Also, MOVE THE 3 POINT LINE BACK PLEASE.

I've got 12/16 and my entire elite 8.

Should be an exciting finish.

Seriously. It very nearly takes away from my enjoyment of the games.

I lost Texas--I really bought in to the Durant thing; shame on me because these teams ARE good enough to shut down a one man team, and let's face it--Durant is pretty good, but he's no Danny Manning...

I'm glad that someone is saying it. I like durant a LOT, but to say that we haven't seen anyone like this in college in years is to illustrate that Tracy McGrady just didn't go to college. I like T-Mac too, but in the pros he's proven to be a pheonomenal scorer and little else (albeit for some injuries) and not much of a jeweler. So I'm not sold on Durant being a perennial all-star as much as some people. However, to that point, Greg Oden strikes me as Okafur Upgrade, and while I love him on defense I'm not 100% that he'll be as much of a winner as Duncan, although I do love his maturity for an 18 year old kid.
