entertaining clip from the internet show Soft Focus hosted by Ian Svenonius . While his interviewing style isn't groomed either, at least there are points that he wants to draw her down a certain path. Chan just kinda goes off the deep end in a weird kid way towards the end.

geez. Unwatchable. The interviewer wasn't THAT bad. I wonder what Chan's drug o' choice is...meth, coke, crack, heroin.....

Cannot vouch for the Make-up -- though I've never been intrigued enough to pick up any of the records, either -- but Nation of Ulysses was entertaining.

As it is, it appears that Ian Svenonius has decided to enter phase 3 of his career -- NOU, phase 1; Make-up, phase 2 -- & become the William F. Buckley, Jr., of indie-rock. That is, he shall be a pompous, dismissive, exceedingly-well-coiffed-for-an-heterosexual-non-metro who will set the tastes for the underground cognoscenti. To that I say: I hope he falls backward out of his chair & cracks his skull open.

Also, Chan Marshall is twice as attractive as Neko, at least, & five times as entertaining.

I also think she prefers cocaine, but has dabbled in ecstacy, some. The former, of course, makes her that much more attractive. & the boat-shoes seal the deal.

One thing is certain regarding both of them. Each always looks different in every photo. No two picks of Neko look the same. No two pics of Chan look the same. It's kind of weird, actually. I look exactly the same in all 38,745 pics I've taken of myself in my lifelong narcissistic bender. The only difference is you can tell my age by counting the number of chins.
