Tonight:

Nothing. Go to gym. Have a beer or two and watch hoops. Rest.

Saturday:

Get up early and head north to my folks' house. I am having to sign my parents will and testament, etc. Apparently in small town Georgia I have to be there at 10am because the notary is coming in from the sticks that morning to have her hair done. We have to have witnesses and shit. I find the whole thing morbid.

Rest of the day, watch hoops and nap.

Sunday:

Head back to Atlanta. Go record shopping. If it's nice, find a deck to sit out on and have a couple beers.

Hoops.

Pretty chill weekend. Kind of looking forward to not doing much and getting aquainted with a couple new albums.

Tonight: Paolo Nutini at The Avalon

Saturday: SLEEP IN!!! I have yet to catch up on the sleep I've been lacking since Austin -- I'll probably wake up around noon. Get a much needed manicure and pedicure --- am so looking forward to having my feet massaged (sigh). Clean house, do laundry, shop for an air compressor.

Sunday: Sleep as much as I want; pack and hop a flight to Sacramento only to look forward to a 2+ hour drive to Redding for a business trip.

Today: I decided I'm cooking all weekend long. Tonight I'm going home to make Stuffed Yorkies (yorkshire pudding with chicken, old cheddar with hollandaise sauce). That and lots of wine.

Sat: It's supposed to be really nice, so sit on the deck and grill. Also making some Vidalia Onion Soup with Fried Cheese Tortellini.

Sun: Slow cooking a pork shoulder and making pulled pork sandwiches. Then watch 'Rome'. Probably have a cardiac arrest shortly thereafter.

Weekend looks pretty boring,a ctually. Soccer and drinks tonight. Then, not really shit going on outside an art opening a friend's got happening. But, the weather may just come to the rescue so at least I can do a little bar-b-q. And, maybe I can do a little record shopping some time.

i might just watch basketball tonight. i slept awkwardly last night and the only show i'm interested in is at a non-smoke-free bar.

tomorrow afternoon will hopefully be chicago obner meetup with haq. if not, i'm at least going to see walter meego and then maybe digitalism.

sunday i am going to root on red at her race and then drop off my bike for a tune-up. (i had no idea i needed to schedule a bicycle tune-up three days in advance.) and then i'm sure i'll watch some basketball while cleaning my apartment, or whatever.

The apples are in stereo tonight.

Work on my bicycle tomorrow.

Hopefully the girly that I like will finally call me back. If not, sigh.

It's snowing in Miami?! Or is that a metaphor for something else?

FRIDAY: Post-work beers while watching a client play an acoustic "in the round" at a local bar, then grab some grub with the lady. Playing the rest of the evening by ear.

SATURDAY: Take the scenic route to Lynchburg, TN to the Jack Daniels distillery with friends and lady in-tow. Head back to Nashville then onto a n early evening cook-out (it's going to be 83degrees here tomorrow!!!). Tomorrow night - Delta Spirit/Tokyo Police Club/Cold War Kids @ Mercy Lounge. Hoping to catch some of all three bands but will most likely see the end of TPC's set.

SUNDAY: walk/hike in Edwin Warner Park, then start dreading the oncoming workweek.

CWK are playing a 400 capacity room here in Nashville and it *might* sell-out. Nashville is weird. Of course CWK have played here 4 times in the last 9 months or so.

My wife's brother and his brood got here from their home in Nashville Wednesday night, and are staying through Sunday. Pretty much every second I'm not at work during this timeframe involves activities with them. It's cool, because they have three sons, and all five cousins haven't been together in over a year. Testosterone rules FRACLANDS these days!
