OK, Just got my new MacBook. All the bells and whistles.

I have limited MAC experience, and I know I will learn it all as I go along.

#1 - Can anyone reccommend a good DVD burning program. That will copy anything?

sanks.

Roxio Toast.

You can also just use the Mac OS, I think.

Well, if you're talking about ripping DVDs, then you can look up Handbrake. It's pretty versatile.

http://howto.diveintomark.org/ipod-dvd-ripping-guide/
a how-to site... with a link to the Handbrake page.

As far as burning DVDs... I don't have any suggestions beyond what was already mentioned.

I think Toast is great for burning CDs and DVDs etc.

I think this is the best for ripping

I tried this and found it too slow for my tastes. but then I'm only using a 1.67 Ghz G4 PB. I used it for converting DVDs for my ipod.

i was a mac newbie a month or two ago. i'm using something called Toast Titanium 8 and mac the ripper. both seem to be working well and there are sites online that tell you everything you need to know in a "for dummies" fashion.
