what a friggin joke...granted, I missed out on the presale, but this is ridiculous. Same thing happened with Arcade Fire a month back. I cant help but believe that ticket brokers are getting their hands on a large majority of these tickets, and reselling later

That totally sucks -- sorry, man. Keep trying as time goes by, my experience has been that they release tickets as the date draws nearer.

2500

I am finding that the only way to get tickets there is through presale or resale

The main thing that sucks is I planned my morning around it, refreshed until the second that they went 'on sale', yet can't score a pair of tickets. Same exact thing for Arcade Fire.

One of the positives living in Nebraska, is that shows like Modest Mouse are usually done by 1% Productions who does all their tickets through Etix.com. There isn't any presale BS and most ticket brokers have no interest in trying to buy up a huge block of tickets.

Do bands actually go to Nebraska?

Btw, wilk, I'm about to do the same for Daft Punk. I specifically want floor seats, lagged on the pre-sale and am hoping I can score one when tix go on sale at noon.

I did find a good website for presale codes though

http://www.fatwallet.com/t/24/581239/

Use the 'search this thread' at the top

For your case:
DAFT PUNK - Los Angeles, CA: ROBOTS

In all honesty and accepting the joke, alot of bands didn't come here frequently until this decade. Now we tend to get everyone but the Europeans, although Morrissey is playing Omaha in May.

If this thread would have been about anyone other than Modest Mouse, it would have been a little more humorous, but they just played a hotel in South Dakota of all places, and that state is ridiculed by Nebraska for its lack of population.

I booked shows for the University Program Council at the University of South Dakota for three years and let me say you can throw tons of cash at bands and they still won't play there. The Airports in the area don't have the greatest number of flights and the Hotels are all pretty average and not very fancy.
The South Dakota show was where Isaac Brock was beating himself with the mic and cut his chest.
