havent seen much discussion on these guys. ive listened to the besnard lakes are the dark horse a couple times through now, and im really, really liking it. opinions?

I totally love that record. Their first album is pretty amazing too. The last song on the first album is still probably my favorite all time besnard song.

Haven't heard the new one yet but I liked what I heard of the old one.

My only other comment: One of the loudest/noisiest bands I've ever heard live.

i deleted it after my first two listens when it first leaked. i re-downloaded out of sheer curiosity and it hit me hard.

i caught them at SXSW and they put on a good show, though i've still not checked out the record. it's on the shortlist, with about 10 other bands i saw at the festival...
