I've been completely useless this week. I have another midterm next week, and have not read a single page of the 12 chapters I need to read yet Ted Leo is playing on Friday and All Tomorrow's Parties (which I got free tix to, and is walking distance from my apt.) is this weekend: Lou Reed, Wolf Parade, Explosions in the Sky, Built to Spill, Eagles of Death Metal, Modest Mouse, The Shins, Flaming Lips, etc.

And I'm sitting here fucking around online.

Whoops. :hellfire:

(Sorry just another random thread)

p. 7 of 318. Oh, I'm so screwed. What's the point of buying these damn expensive books if I never read them anyway?!?!

(ugh, sorry I'm delirious)

Hmmm...Marty is my friend too. I may have to call him and tell him that you won't be able to go to ATP cuz you have to study REALLLLLLY hard this weekend.

"Yes, Marty, she's very upset that she can't go ...but, well, y'know, school IS important."

Skip Ted Leo, study, then go see some bands at ATP. Skip the bands you don't like and go home and study. Go back and forth all day. That's the convenience of free + walking distance.

Can't skip Ted Leo because I'm going with my best friend and she's moving to SF in a few weeks & we haven't hung out in awhile so plans are already set. But why didn't I think about going back & forth, they give you wristbands to walk back & forth between the ship & the other area where the stage is at. Well, it's my fault for slacking but I work better under pressure anyway. ;)

Yeah and is anyone else in LA going to ATP?

ATP isn't worth my money this year...except for Lou Reed. And a few other bands, but I've already seen them recently on their own.
