I saw it over the weekend. It was pretty cool. I'd recommend it. Different than your standard hollywood horror movies.

I saw some of this sans any subtitles a while back on video. My fiancee was kind of just skimming through it to show me that there was a Korean CGI monster movie, and she explained the basic plot and key parts and stuff.

Seemed like an alright movie. The positive reviews are kinda surprising, really. If this had been a Hollywood movie, I doubt it would be viewed so favorably. Not that it's bad or anything, but there have been intentionally goofy horror movies before that haven't generated much enthusiasm even though I'm sure they were done about as well as this. The special effects were obviously low budget, but they were handled well, considering. I don't know if any of the humor came across like it was supposed to because it was being only partially translated to me.

None of my local theatres are showing this thing at a time that works for me.

So I said "fuck it" & just bought the DVD on eBay for 5 bucks. :lol:

It's playing near here but I'll probably never get to the theatre that's playing it so I just bought the dvd off Amazon UK.

I wanted to see it on a big screen, but oh well. It woulda cost us $16 + to go see it in the theatre, but now I can watch it as much as I want for $10 ( including shipping ) .
