The one indelible image from last week that will remain with me the rest of the year is seeing my bud Jon (a.k.a. "shiv") laying stiff on the hardwood floor of the Phil-Colin Manor with his arms crossing his chest like he was in an open casket. He was probably a lot closer to death than any of us will ever know.

shiv rules!

HAHA...It was hilarious, because these other interlopers had snaked shiv's air mattress while he was out 'til 5:30 a.m. at Whiney's all-night Paper Thin Walls party, so shiv literally had no place else to sleep inside except for this narrow patch of hardwood floor. Every single chair, couch, bean bag, etc. in the entire house was occupied by some sort of invading drifter that night, so he just hit the deck and caught some extremely uncomfortable ZZZs.

I still say "laying stiff" sounds like something else.

I was just about to say that. Poor Jon, lying there for everyone to see with morning wood.

He brought home some indie tramp one night, and thus "laying stiff" was more a verb than an adjective in my head.

I surprisingly slept for 3 straight hours on the floor, which is weird because I always have trouble falling asleep. Maybe it was the 14+ beers that night and the percocet I took at 4am.

one night? more than one... three?

and she was cool, not a tramp at all, and i'm not even saying that cause she liked my chow.
