every summer the homeless guys come out in full force in the park behind my house. they are really f'n loud - teling crazy stories and yelling jibberish until 2am many nights. i havent figured out what to do - maybe i will slap 'em. doubt i would survive as there are sometimes 5 or 6 of 'em. i've also considered shining a really bright light at 'em or throwing water balloons from over my fence.

Yeah, I don't care how pissed off I was about someone making noise, the drunks and transients around here would probably leave my dead corpse in the flood control ditch near my apartment if I slapped them.
And the ones downtown and around the sketchy area I used to live, I'd always keep my fist balled and was waiting for one of them to turn on me if I didn't have change for them.
I wasn't and am not about to mess with someone that is probably doing meth and/or has drank mouthwash to get drunk.

Yeah, I used to have a short fuse as a child. Since I am a happy drunk, it has never caused me any issue. I think wrestling also allowed to me focus aggression. Also once I was clearly a runt amongst most of my peers, I didn't really need to protect myself, since I had large friends and acquaintances who kept me from getting the little man syndrome.
Unlike Kyle, I think if I took a swing now, I'd continue to swing until someone pulled me off the person.
