A friend send me this link to this crazy dude making freaky connections between these two bands. Here's a choice bit:

Quote:
Even more intriguing is the fact when you look at the colors of the clothes that The Beatles are wearing and compare it to Bono’s, they are the same. It’s like the transfiguration of Jesus in the Mountain where in the presence of his three ‘sleepy’ disciples, Peter, James, and John; he was transfixed (the appearance of his face changed and his clothes became white), right after being joined by his predecessors, Moses and Elijah. In Bono’s case, also in the presence of his three ‘sleepy’ partners, Larry, Adam and Edge, he transfixes the clothing of his predecessors (The Beatles), into himself .

So fucking crazy. Oliver Stone needs to hit this now.

Oh, and there is a "third" band that is going to complete the revelation - Coldplay.

Crazy bananas time waster:

While some are interesting, for the most part he's reaching. Still, you have to give the person credit for being so thorough.

Yeah, the cosmic similarities appear mostly in packaging and career trajectories. But the further you get into the site, the crazier he pushes it.
