On a slightly related note....the Spank Rock FabricLive disc is pretty hot from start to finish. Great party mix, just like last year's record.

dj kicks is a dj compilation mix series that certain electronic producers/artist do. depending on the artist, it can range from downtempo to upbeat dance/electronic music.

i definitely have to get this because the few hot chip dj mixes i have from beats in space are incredible so i'm excited to hear what they put on here.

also, yes, that new track "my piano" is on there.

i love hot chip but there was some mix by them that was posted on pitchfork a couple of months ago and it was pretty underwhelming and it didn't sound good either.
